The role of the Revenue Controller is to manage the Revenue Accounting Department and develop accounting personnel while continuously improving department policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, improve, and coordinate continuous improvement projects within the Revenue Accounting Department
  • Provide direction and guidance to all Revenue Accounting personnel
  • Oversees the departments hiring processes and terminations 
  • Ensure compliance with appropriate Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and applicable Federal, State, and Local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax requirements
  • Ensure proper controls are in place to protect and ensure asset security
  • Analyze Company transactions
  • Manage annual financial audits while coordinating with outside Accountants/Auditors
  • Provide technical assistance to all sister companies and subsidiaries
  • Maintain positive relationships with outside professionals, such as accountants/auditors, bank personnel, vendors, etc.
  • Research, analyze, and implement new technology
  • Perform special tasks as requested by Chief Financial Officer

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field 

  • CPA (preferred)
  • 5+ years experience in leadership/management
  • 5+ years experience in Accounting-related field
  • Experience with Oracle (preferred)
  • Skillful in Microsoft Office Programs
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
