As a HR / Benefits Administrator you will be in charge of the administration of benefits for Dayton Freight employees. 

Responsibilities

  • Maintains personnel files in regards to benefits
  • Maintain employee benefits area in HRIS system
  • Audit benefits insurance eligibility files
  • Update employee website with benefit information
  • Assist with Annual Open Enrollment of employee benefits
  • Administer 401(k) weekly deduction & monthly reconciliation
  • Track 401(k) eligibility monthly for status changes
  • Balance HSA deposits monthly and annually
  • Administer Cobra Insurance
  • Generate 1095-C information monthly
  • Prepare billing reports for various departments/ venders
  • Send Employee and Employer H.S.A. deposits
  • Provide support and education to employees regarding benefit questions/issues

  • Ability to multitask
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion
  • Previous Benefits/ HR experience is a plus
